Sam Blakesberg is a director, writer, and editor based in Denver, CO. 

Following Producer Assistant roles on Martin Scorcese’s The Irishman and Todd Phillips’ The Joker, Sam pivoted to post production and directing. His short film The Kook quickly went viral, leading to work with clients such as Nike, NHL, NFL, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and SoulCycle.

In 2023, Sam expanded his career into episodic television, working as a staff writer on a Netflix crime drama from the creator of Power. His feature length documentary on the cult of Grateful Dead followers known as Deadheads is currently in post production. 

Sam works with production companies and studios throughout the US and abroad.
